Château Saint-Roux through history

An historic farm built in the hinterland of Provence in the 15th century, Château Saint-Roux’s name – both literal and poetic – was given by an Italian aristocrat charmed by the orange and vermilion hues of its soil. It is now a committed organic wine estate promising a delightful break in harmony with nature.

Our estate wines

Our wines are elaborated using natural, local yeasts to procure complex aromas and a unique signature, in line with our commitment to expressing the terroir as faithfully as possible. Exceptional among Côtes de Provence AOP wines, this approach allows us to produce genuinely typical wines.

Hand-picked during the cool night hours, the grapes are quickly routed to the cellar, where they are delicately pressed after short maceration. The wine musts are cold-stabilized for several weeks before blending. Our wines are fermented using natural, indigenous yeasts yielding authentic flavours and raised on fine lees for several months to perfect their aromas.
